Summer Heat

We’ve had some very warm days and as predicted very little rain. The paddocks are dry and crispy.  The cattle tend to sit under the gum trees in the shade most of the day and graze at nights. This is Australia at its finest!!  We have been feeding out small amounts of hay to keep the cattle in great condition.  Today was yard day and all the cattle were rounded up early and put through the yards for their vaccinations and a back line drench.  We started early to finish early before the heat of the day set in. These boys are so tame they had their treatment in the paddock!  Then a brush to finish off the day.  The older bull is 8 ½ yrs. and the younger bull is just 2 yrs.
